By using the Design Affinity LLC website (“Design Affinity, we, us, design services"), you, “the client” agrees to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions.

The client will receive design recommendations based on the questionnaire, pictures, and/or other materials submitted by the client. Since design is subjective, the client agrees that Design Affinity cannot guarantee full satisfaction with the design services and/or ideas the client receives from Design Affinity.

Due to the nature of online shopping, Design Affinity will make every effort to show recommended products and their colors and materials in the most accurate way on the concept board, rendering and shopping list. The displayed colors of the products will depend upon the client’s computer monitor and cannot be guaranteed by Design Affinity as an accurate portrayal of the actual colors or materials of the products. We also make the best effort to estimate the scale of the client’s space based on photos and measurements provided to us, but will not guarantee that all recommended products will fit in the client’s space. The client is required to accurately measure their space, doorways, building elevators, and openings to ensure that items will physically fit and can be delivered prior to purchasing. The client is responsible for following the return policies for the online stores or manufacturers for all purchases.

Also, Design Affinity does not guarantee, or warranty, any of the products or merchandise purchased by the client through the use of our services. The client’s only recourse for a guarantee or a warranty claim is directly with the manufacturer or the company where it was purchased.  Any product purchases made through Design Affinity may be subject to cost plus pricing, not to exceed the retail price on any product.  This cost may be invoiced as a non-taxable service fee and covers product research, ordering, managing shipments, and deliveries, if applicable. 

Design Affinity will attempt to make sure that all retail product links are current in order to assist the client with purchasing design items.  However, there is no guarantee that the furniture or accessories recommended by Design Affinity will be in stock for purchase due to the ever-changing nature of inventory on the internet. This is especially true if there is a gap in time between the final design delivery and the purchasing of items.  If prices are provided as part of the design service recommendation, there is no guarantee that the price is the lowest current price or the lowest compared to other retailers or that the client will find the item at the same price when they place their order.

In addition, Design Affinity makes every effort to produce 2D concept boards and floor plans and 3D renderings that are an accurate representation of the client’s new space.  Some digital models of furniture or accessories may not be exact matches.  As a result, the rendering will have differences as compared to the actual room design.
